I had the pleasure to attend 2 practices open only to the media on Saturday, Aug. 21st & Sunday, Aug. 22nd at the University of Ottawa's Sports Complex.  This was the greatest experience of my life as a hockey fan / website owner.  The highlight of it was being able to stand less than a foot away from the Great One himself, Wayne Gretzky & shake the legend's hand.  It'll be a moment I'll never be able to top, and never will be able to forget.  I have many pictures to put up here, so keep checking back as I get them uploaded.  One thing I'd like to add is that the Canadian squad looks great, the chemistry is there and I think the mobility of the defense is going to be a weapon a lot of teams aren't expecting.  These guys are young & fast and looked great in practice - now let the games begin !
